Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, assignments, and workflow
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Monitor staff performance and address concerns in collaboration with leadership
- Conduct routine assessments and ensure quality resident care
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians and families
- Review documentation for accuracy in PointClickCare
- Ensure proper medication administration and treatment delivery
- Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and satisfaction
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
- Complete and review incident/accident reports
- Ensure readiness for state surveys and audits
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team (IDT)
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment
- Support staff development, coaching, and accountability
- Current, active, and unencumbered RN license (PA)
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
