Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Full-Time & Part-Time • All Shifts Available

Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in a skilled nursing setting? We are seeking an LPN to join our team! This role provides direct nursing care while supervising daily nursing activities performed by CNAs to ensure high-quality and compliant care at all times.
⭐ Position Summary
The LPN is responsible for delivering hands-on nursing care, supervising nursing assistants, completing documentation, administering medications, coordinating resident services, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. This role requires leadership, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent resident care.
💼 Responsibilities Include
Clinical & Nursing Care

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, treatments, wound care, assessments, and restorative nursing.

Monitor changes in resident condition and promptly notify physicians and families.

Ensure resident care is provided according to care plans, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Admit, transfer, and discharge residents.

Respond to emergencies and monitor critically ill residents.
Supervision & Leadership

Direct day-to-day functions of CNAs and ensure compliance with facility standards.

Conduct rounds to ensure high-quality resident care.

Assign daily tasks and supervise performance of nursing staff.

Participate in staff meetings, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
Documentation & Reporting

Accurate and timely charting, including nurses’ notes, incident reports, physician orders, and admission/discharge documentation.

Maintain narcotic records and report discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
Resident Advocacy & Rights
-
Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, kindness, and provided privacy at all times.

Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
Safety & Infection Control

Ensure staff follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Maintain clean, safe work and resident care areas.

Participate in fire drills, disaster preparedness, and in-service training.

📚 Qualifications
-
Current, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Pennsylvania.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise staff professionally.

Knowledge of nursing practices, long-term care regulations, and medication administration.

Compassionate, patient, and able to handle stressful or emotional situations.

Ability to lift/push/pull a minimum of 25 lbs and assist with resident care as needed.
Salary : $27 - $33
