What You'll Do
We're looking for a motivated Residential Plumbing Apprentice ready to learn the trade hands-on from experienced lead plumbers. You'll work alongside a lead plumber on residential and light commercial jobs, building the skills and hours you need to grow in the trade. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the lead plumber with residential and light commercial plumbing installations
- Help install water supply lines, gas piping, drain/waste/vent systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components
- Learn proper installation techniques, tool use, and safety procedures on the job
- Support the lead plumber in keeping the job site clean and organized and the truck properly stocked
- Interact professionally and respectfully with customers, building the communication skills needed to grow in the trade
- Participate in all training — formal and on-the-job — to build toward journeyman-level skills
- Help complete accurate paperwork, job notes, and documentation
Who You Are
- Motivated, coachable, and ready to put in the work to learn a trade
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials, or a strong desire to learn
- Willing to learn plumbing codes and installation standards
- Clean, safe driving record
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Comfortable talking with customers and eager to build people skills on the job
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
