Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to ensure a positive café experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment to meet food safety standards
- Handle cash register operations accurately, processing cash transactions and giving correct change using retail math skills
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks following proper food safety protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient beverage delivery
Skills
- Experience with café or food service environments, including barista experience preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and balancing registers
