Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Teacher to join our in home team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves providing care for children, facilitating their development, and ensuring their well-being while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and hygiene practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare setting.
- Provide first aid when necessary and maintain health standards in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings is required.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- CPR/ First aid certification required; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining children.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
