Role Description The Access Control Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Biloxi, MS. This role is responsible for managing and installing access control systems in company facilities. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and maintaining access control systems, reviewing access logs, responding to security alerts, and coordinating with internal teams to adjust access privileges as roles and responsibilities change. The specialist will conduct routine security checks, assist with incident investigations, and help implement policies and procedures aligned with physical, information, and network security standards. Collaboration with management, IT, and facilities staff is essential to support a safe, compliant, and secure environment.
Qualifications
- Candidate should possess practical Physical Security skills to install and program access control systems.
- Candidate should possess solid Network Security skills to support secure configuration, monitoring, and access to network resources.
- Candidate should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, document incidents, and explain security requirements clearly.
- Relevant experience with access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, or identity and access management tools is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality are required.
- Prior experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or corporate security is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security certifications or training (e.g., CompTIA Security , ASIS certifications) are advantageous.
