We are in search of a Picker to work in our warehouse. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to pulling, checking and packing orders to be delivered same day and next day.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately pull and/or check orders to company standards.
• Must be willing to support the other areas of the warehouse such as receiving, stocking, and fabrication shop when not pulling and or checking.
• This position requires lifting or sliding items up to 100 lbs. and moving heavier items with the use of mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with forklift and/or order picking equipment is a plus, however, we will provide training if needed in order to operate this machinery.
• Must be able to work in seasonal hot/humid environment with temperatures exceeding 100°F at times or in our cooler climate locations temperatures close to freezing.
• Strong organizational skills.
• General computer skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills are a must as we promote teamwork at all levels to be efficient and successful at providing the high level of customer service we are known for.
• Excellent oral communication skills. Must be detail oriented and able to master and complete several tasks at a time.
• Ability to perform data entry in a computer and extract information on orders. Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• We require a pre-employment drug test and background check for all positions.
