Responsibilities
- Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.
- Ability to use and maintain a floor scrubber and buffer.
- Maintain cleanliness & sanitation of the floors throughout the store.
- Clean up spills, sweep, and mop as needed.
- Maintain a neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
- Maintain and organize floor chemicals and supplies.
- Vacuum, steam clean, or shampoo carpeted areas or rugs throughout the store.
- Ability to strip, seal, and wax floors as needed.
- Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
- Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
- Communicates floor maintenance needs to store management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Knowledge of safety & sanitation guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Effective communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull, and operate floor equipment for extended periods of time.
