Lower School Teacher (K-5) - multiple openings

Pine Lake Prep, a top rated North Carolina public charter school, is seeking enthusiastic and highly engaged Lower School Teachers (K-5) for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple openings are available, and we welcome candidates across all grade levels.

The Lower School Teacher should be motivated, dynamic, organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams.

Essential functions of the position include:

• Provide high quality instruction to assist students in reaching their full academic potential
• Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged.
• Create an environment of respect and rapport that fosters a positive climate for learning, equity, and excellence.
• Promote student learning by providing responsive instruction that makes use of effective communication techniques, instructional strategies that actively engage students in the learning process, and timely, high-qualify feedback.
• Fulfill professional roles and responsibilities, and adhere to legal and ethical requirements of the profession.

Desirable applicants will hold a B.A./B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching.  The candidate will be required to uphold standards set by the NC Department of Public Instruction.
