What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant cum Receptionist (FULL-TIME) position at Lower Merion Neurology, PC?
A Neurology practice has an immediate need for an organized, highly motivated, friendly, and reliable Medical Assistant/Receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling administrative duties in both the front and back of the office, including but not limited to, scheduling, answering phone calls, rooming patients etc. We are looking for a team player who enjoys working directly with people.
The primary job location is Paoli, PA, but this person will need to work out of our Narberth office 1 day a week.
Job responsibilities and duties:
Medical Assistant/Receptionist:
Schedule appointments
Greet/check-in patients
Room patients (take vitals, update medical histories, prepare patients for exam)
Answer phone calls
Process refill requests — if needed, contact patient pharmacy to call in prescriptions Obtain prior-authorizations
