Leading midtown dialysis center seeking medical biller/collector. 3 Plus years experience a must. Dialysis experience preferred. Competitive salary, excellent benefits.
Job Functions:
- Collection of accounts with the objective of achieving and maintaining the current status for all assigned accounts.
- Filing insurance claims to all third party payors
- Inputting accounts receivable data in house computer system
- Electronic submission of claims and adjustments to Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and other insurers.
- Maintaining Medicare bad debt worksheets in Excel.
- Manually posting accounts receivable payments into house computer system.
- Knowledge of the accounts receivable TIME system a plus
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
