About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our food manufacturing operations by turning data into actionable insights. You will analyze production, quality, and supply chain data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and provide data to key decision makers. This role is critical for driving data-driven decisions across manufacturing, procurement, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from our systems with data from production lines, inventory systems, sales data, and quality control reports.
- Monitor yield, downtime, and waste metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for real-time operational insights.
- Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, sales and procurement teams to optimize processes.
- Forecast demand and assist in capacity planning and raw material procurement.
- Extract Sales data from ERP system and provide data to our sales team in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field is desired,
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language (Python or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new things and help out others with tasks as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) used in manufacturing.
- Understanding of predictive analytics for production planning.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality metrics.
