What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Non-Instructional Assistant, LES position at Lower Elementary School?
The New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking applicants for a Non-Instructional Assistant at the Lower Elementary Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year to provide support for students during lunch and recess. The positon's hours will be from 10:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Monitor and coordinate the lunch/recess program for grades K-2
- Support a safe, positive learning environment for students during lunch and outside at recess
- Communicate with staff and administration regarding lunch/recess concerns/needs
- Work collaboratively with other assistants to best support all students
- Communicate with nurse/guidance counselor regarding health issues or student needs
- Work with parent volunteers
- Assist staff with clerical functions as needed.
- Additional responsbilities as assigned by building administration
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Related experience is beneficial
- Must posess basic computer skills for clerical demands of the job
