The Disability & Access Services is looking for a WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE student. This position assists students with various types of disabilities at Lower Columbia College both in the office and classroom setting. This entails working directly with students and assisting with assistive technology.
Example of Duties & Responsibilities
- Note taking, scribing, reading for students during class and/or testing.
- Audio book, closed captioning, and assistive technology (we will teach these).
- Assist with test proctoring, reception, and other office duties as necessary.
Typical Qualifications
DAS is looking for a reliable, positive, candidate interested in helping others. Spanish speaking, experience in technology, office settings, and/or serving diverse populations is a plus.

Conditions of Employment
