Communication Studies Adjunct Faculty

• At a Glance!**: Lower Columbia College (LCC) is seeking an adjunct Communication Studies Instructor who places students at the center of decision-making. We are looking for someone who is innovative and collaborative, values engagement, maintains open and efficient communication, and makes decisions informed by student-success data. The Instructor must maintain an inclusive classroom culture that respects the diverse and lived experiences, values, beliefs, and practices of others. This position will use technology to develop and deliver instruction through multiple modalities. Available courses will vary, but quarterly offerings include CMST& 220: Public Speaking, CMST& 230: Small Group Communication, CMST & 210: Interpersonal Communication, and CMST& 240: Intercultural Communication.

Contract Rates

Lecture rate is $80.68 per contact hour ($887.48 per credit).

Lab rate is $60.08 per contact hour ($1,321.76 per credit).

Field-based experience rate is $43.64 per contact hour ($1,440.16 per credit).

Adjunct faculty are hired on a quarterly basis as needed.
