Job Summary:

As an Account Coordinator at Lowen Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business development efforts and ensuring seamless coordination of sales activities. You will be responsible for customer account management which includes processing orders for merchandise received by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail, on-line, from the customers or company employees.

Essential Functions:

  • Handles all aspects of customer’s needs
  • Quote each order
  • Enter data into computer to generate quotes for customers
  • Computes price, discount, sales representative’s commission and shipping charges as required
  • Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
  • Informs customers of shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer
  • Receives and researches customer complaints
  • Confers with production, shipping, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace mission or delayed shipments
  • Work with the installation department
  • Review customer samples and inventory them

This job operates in a clerical, office setting.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to life files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking, primarily on a level surface, for periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.

Compensation/Expected Hours of Work:
