What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Operator position at Lowell Inc.?
Lowell Inc has an opportunity for a CMM Operator, Mon-Fri day shift, who will utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with customer specifications and expectations. CMM Operator will also inspect products at various stages of the production process and evaluate outputs to determine part conformance along with providing feedback to machinists for process control.

CMM Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate automated CMM machines to measure parts
- Manage inspection records and QA documentation
- Interpret Engineering drawings and specifications; provide process improvement suggestions
- Make changes to existing programs for updated revisions and optimization
· Run scheduled checks per customer and company requirements
· Identifying and containing suspect parts
· Other duties as assigned
CMM Operator Required Skills and Experience:
· Two plus years of CMM experience utilizing PC-DMIS software
· Read and interpret drawings with linear and GD&T dimensions
· Proficiently use a microscope for performing visual inspection of parts and equipment
- Use basic hand-held measuring tools
· Use a personal computer for accessing instruction, inspection reports and maintaining records
· Possess the skills necessary to communicate via English both written and oral
Additional Skills and Experience Preferred:
· ISO 13485 regulated environment
· Smart Profile Evaluation Software
· SolidWorks CAD software
Compensation: $25-28/hour DOQ
