Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of fences using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipmen
- Operate groundskeeping equipment such as skidsteers, excavators, compaction equipment, hydroseeder, various power tools and irrigation systems to ensure healthy landscapes
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support horticultural health and landscape design goals
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to maintain a secure work environment
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping and construction equipment
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Ability to identify plants, trees, and shrubs accurately for proper care and pest management
- Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and landscaping projects
- Understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites, equipment operation, and outdoor environments
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning for health and safety purposes
