Part-Time Head Daytime Custodian - July 1 start

The Lowell Graded School has a Head Daytime Custodian position vacancy for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The position will work with administration in ensuring a safe and clean learning environment in and around school grounds and oversee the infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs. Minimum Qualifications: 1.High school graduate. 2.Recommended 2-4 years of previous experience and knowledge in the following: a.Experience with maintenance and custodial tasks b.Knowledge of facilities management in at least one of the following areas preferred: ●HVAC systems ●Public bid process ●Project specifications & general contracting/building ●Plumbing and electrical repairs and upkeep 3.Ability to perform manual labor and meet physical demands of the job including but not limited to: ●Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds ●Ability to lift and carry heavy objects 4.Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills are crucial. 5.Knowledge or willingness to learn Vermont state regulations for schools around facilities and safety. 6.Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and dependability. 7.Maintains standards of confidentiality in the community 8.Computer skills with competency in Google platforms. Salary & Benefits: as per Support Staff Collective Agreement. Hourly rate range between $21.35 and $24.00, depending on previous experience. This is a 20-hour per week, daytime, full-year position.
