Duties And Responsibilities
Operations & Performance Management
- Monitor and drive performance against key KPIs including access, throughput, and productivity
- Ensure consistent execution of organizational initiatives across the health center
- Conduct audits and operational assessments to identify gaps, implement process improvements, and sustain workflow reliability
- Ensure coordination of services across departments to support integration of residency program and continuity of care
- Align clinic operations with residency training requirements and continuity clinic expectations
- Maintain resident scheduling templates, onboarding processes, and clinic readiness for new residents and academic cycles
- Balance operational efficiency with educational needs of resident providers and faculty
- Oversee daily operations of the family practice residency clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and front-end workflows
- Ensure efficient clinic throughput while maintaining high standards of patient care and experience
- Implement and monitor standard workflows to support both clinical care and resident training
- Partner with panel coordination to ensure appropriate provider panel distribution and maintenance including:
- Ensure accurate provider panel distribution and maintenance
- Monitor access, no-shows, and scheduling trends
- Support rescheduling and communication processes
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership on budget planning and operational resource alignment
- Support fiscal responsibility through monitoring of operational performance and efficiency opportunities
- Support team-based care and onboarding processes
- Address patient concerns and improve satisfaction
- Facilitate new patient onboarding processes
- Ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance
- Support ACGME and NCQA-PCMH standards
- Optimize EHR and workflow systems
- Collaborate on provider scheduling processes, including time-off coordination and on-call schedule development
- Support a collaborative, team-based environment through influence and cross-functional partnership
- Support onboarding and training workflows
- Strong operational and workflow management
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Experience with EHR systems preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- 5 years healthcare operations experience
- FQHC or residency experience preferred
