What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at Lowe Yeager & Brown PLLC?
Lowe Yeager & Brown PLLC is a firm focused on complex litigation, with an emphasis on advising and representing professionals - primarily attorneys but also judges, accountants, doctors, veterinarians, architects, and engineers. We also represent public officials and executives on issues of ethics and investigations, prosecute and defend class actions, and prosecute civil rights and qui tam claims. We encourage our lawyers to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions, and we have cases from New York to Georgia.
We have a particular way of approaching cases and prefer winning over settlement, enjoy a good fight, are meticulously ethical, and are committed to being smarter, quicker, and better than our adversaries. To that end, our offices are the best possible space in which to work in a collaborative and fun family-friendly environment, while allowing attorneys to work remotely or from home as needed. Due to our emphasis on quality of life, our minimum billable hours are 1,500 per year - about 30 hours per week - with bonuses for attorneys who choose to work more and incentives for originating new work. Due to this unique compensation structure, our per-billable-hour compensation is competitive with much larger firms.
We are looking for attorneys that are self-starters eager to grow into the best of litigators aggressively representing the interests of our professional and corporate clients. We are also looking for character and personality, people who are fun to work with, inventive, and well-rounded.
