Job Description:
Lowcountry Urgent Care is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver walk-in care to patients of all ages at our Loris, SC clinic. This is a fixed-location role in a busy, well-established urgent care serving the Loris community seven days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Provide walk-in urgent care including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education
- Perform common urgent care procedures (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, joint injections)
- Complete medical records the same day as the patient visit
- Perform DOT physicals and occupational health services (drug screens, TB tests, employer physicals)
- Collaborate with the collaborating physician and clinic staff to deliver quality care
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
What We're Looking For:
- Active South Carolina FNP license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
- National certification (AANP or ANCC)
- DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start
- Current BLS; ACLS preferred
- Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Comfortable managing high patient volume with strong documentation habits
