Recovery Specialist (Full-Time)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in managing delinquent accounts, recovering assets, and working directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays required
- Compensation: Hourly pay monthly bonus structure
Key Responsibilities:
- Recover vehicles from customers in default
- Conduct skip tracing to locate customers and assets
- Attend magistrate proceedings for claims and vehicle deliveries as needed
- Assist customers with redemption of vehicles after recovery
- File judgments on deficiency balances
- Negotiate and settle accounts for customers with charge-offs
- Work with customers to establish payment plans to prevent recovery when possible
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all recovery activities
Qualifications:
- Previous collections, recovery, or related experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and respectfully
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers and database systems
