Loving Our Community Counseling Services is seeking an outgoing, organized, and relationship-focused Community Outreach & Referral Coordinator to help expand our presence in the community and strengthen our referral network.
This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building professional relationships, attending community events, and introducing organizations to mental health services and resources.
The primary focus of this role is community outreach and referral development. The Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with schools, healthcare providers, social service agencies, community organizations, and other professionals who may refer individuals and families for counseling services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with community referral partners
- Conduct outreach to schools, healthcare providers, social service agencies, nonprofits, and other community organizations
- Make phone calls, send emails, and conduct in-person outreach to introduce our services
- Schedule and attend meetings with potential referral partners
- Attend community events, resource fairs, networking events, and other outreach opportunities
- Follow up consistently with existing and prospective referral sources
- Distribute marketing and informational materials throughout the community
- Identify new organizations and potential community partners for outreach
- Maintain accurate records of outreach contacts, follow-ups, referrals, and partnership activity
- Communicate referral opportunities and community needs to leadership
- Represent Loving Our Community Counseling Services professionally and positively throughout the community
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable making phone calls, introducing yourself to new organizations, and initiating professional relationships
- Organized and able to independently manage follow-ups and outreach activities
- Professional, dependable, and personable
- Comfortable attending community events and networking
- Basic computer and email skills
- Reliable transportation for community outreach
- Experience in community outreach, healthcare, mental health, social services, nonprofit work, marketing, business development, or relationship-building is preferred

This is not a position where you will simply wait for referrals to come in. The right candidate will be comfortable identifying potential referral partners, making outreach calls, sending emails, following up, visiting organizations, attending community events, and consistently building professional relationships within the community.
