Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within our Level II Trauma Center, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. RN is responsible for the overall quality of care for one patient living with his family.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs in the home setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Perform medical imaging procedures as required and assist with gastric lavage when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal medicine specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care and long-term care settings preferred.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and internal medicine principles.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour for RN
Requirements: Current, valid PA licensure required, as RN. Minimum one year post acute/rehab and long term care experience, preferred. Every other weekend/every other holiday required.
