Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support individuals with physical or mental challenges in their daily activities. Responsibilities
- Ensure clients take their medications on schedule
- Assist clients with limited mobility
- Provide personal care assistance with daily tasks
- Support clients with physical therapy routines
- Prepare meals in line with clients' dietary requirements
- Accompany and assist clients with shopping or errands
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Report any unusual incidents to physicians or supervisors
- Respond promptly and responsibly to emergencies
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role
- Commitment to health and safety standards
- Ability to perform household tasks and cook meals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Positive, compassionate, and patient demeanor
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Physical stamina and resilience
- CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
