Tintometer, Inc., based in Sarasota, FL, seeks a Sales Support Associate to become part of the Lovibond team and help us in our commitment to putting customers first by providing excellent service and great product experiences.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Support Associate is responsible for connecting with leads and customers to establish new relationships or maintain and grow existing accounts Through interacting with prospects and customers via phone, email, or other electronic methods, they are responsible for managing the entire sales process, from the initial contact to closing the sale, as well as any follow-up.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses to customer requests.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with business partners to accomplish growth and long-term company objectives.
  • Maintain customer interest and commitment through continuous follow-up.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interact with prospects and customers via phone, email, or other electronic methods, to successfully maintain and improve the customer experience.
  • Use product expertise and fast thinking to solve real-time issues and educate customers on the correct use and maintenance of our technologies.
  • Support the strategic promotion and sales of Lovibond’s Technologies and solutions to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Engage directly with customers to present and promote current products, showcase features and benefits to enhance customer understanding.
  • Manage projects related to product implementation and customer onboarding, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team with day-to-day operations to include generating and managing quotes, proposals, and other sales-related materials.
  • Prepare sales proposals and quotations, supporting the sales process with well-organized documentation.
  • Qualify leads and route opportunities to the appropriate sales personnel for effective follow-up and conversion.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and industry development to enhance your product knowledge and refine your sales techniques
  • Generate reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, tracking customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes.
  • Handle a variety of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Always acts professionally and honestly in the representation of the Company.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in applicable field (preferred).
  • Proven excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales and knowledge of CRM software.
  • Possess a high level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Adept at maintaining a professional manner in all customer interactions both internal and external.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • A quick learner who can work independently, must be accurate and repeatable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment comfortably and effectively.
Degree of disruption to routine, overtime:
Moderate degree of disruption to routine. Occasional overtime is needed to meet reporting deadlines and to attend work events as deemed necessary by the job.
Physical Requirements:
Job requires the ability to see, hear, speak, manual dexterity, long intervals of sitting, occasional walking, standing, balance and the ability to lift or move up to 20 lbs. Job requires the ability to work on a computer for extended amounts of time. Occasional lifting for setting up at events, etc. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
