                                          POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE:                                                   Secretary, School                                              

REPORTS TO:                              Principal                                                                     

LENGTH OF CONTRACT OR WORK YEAR:                         199 Work Days                                    

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. MSIS contact person; responsible for all aspects of PowerSchool and MSIS operations.
2. Answers incoming calls and routes all messages to appropriate staff.
3. Maintains student attendance records and all other files.
4. Prepares correspondence, forms, reports, etc. for the principal and/or assistant principal(s).
5. Assists in compiling information for various reports.
6. Maintains confidentiality of information.
7. Greets visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
8. Any other duties as assigned by the principal and/or assistant principal(s).
9. Regular in person attendance. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma
2. Excellent computer skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Three (3) years secretarial experience.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
