Job Summary: As a cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining clean facilities while having friendly faces. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers performing various duties depending on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using a variety of methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
