">Main Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain retreading machinery to produce high-quality retreads ">
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and tires to ensure compliance with safety regulations ">
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using technical expertise and specialized tools ">
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently ">
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technologies ">
- Assist with training and mentoring of new employees to ensure seamless knowledge transfer ">
- Stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals ">
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement ">
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes ">
Requirements
">To be successful as a Retread Center Technician, you should have:

- A High School Diploma or GED ">
- Prior experience working in a distribution center/warehouse environment ">
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field ">
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations ">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ">
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team ">
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ">
- Typical physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and working from elevated surfaces ">
- Frequently lift and/or move over 50 pounds ">
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus ">
Working Environment
">This is a fast-paced distribution center and tire retread plant environment where there may be wide temperature variations depending on weather conditions. While performing duties, the employee is frequently exposed to dirt, dust, rubber smells, and debris, cleaning solutions as well as powered material handling equipment and commercial truck traffic.
