Part-Time Bridal Stylist - Lovely Bride Providence
Lovely Bride Providence is looking for a part-time Bridal Stylist to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about bridal fashion, loves working with people, and understands that finding a wedding dress is about so much more than just putting on pretty gowns. Our stylists create a thoughtful, personal, and memorable experience for every bride who walks through our doors.
The ideal candidate is confident, warm, stylish, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment. You should be someone who can make a bride feel completely at ease while also confidently guiding her through the process of finding her dress.
What You'll Do
- Welcome brides and create a warm, personal, and elevated appointment experience
- Conduct bridal appointments from start to finish, including learning about each bride's style, venue, wedding, and overall vision
- Pull and recommend gowns based on each bride's preferences, body type, budget, and overall aesthetic
- Provide head-to-toe styling, including veils and other finishing touches
- Assist brides with getting in and out of gowns and provide thoughtful, body-positive guidance throughout the appointment
- Help brides understand gown sizing, fit, construction, and potential alterations
- Take accurate measurements and photographs for brides purchasing gowns
- Confidently communicate pricing, designers, ordering timelines, and the Lovely Bride purchasing process
- Work toward individual and store-wide sales goals while maintaining a genuine, non-pressure approach to selling
- Build lasting relationships with brides and provide exceptional service throughout their experience with Lovely
- Follow up with brides after appointments and assist with questions throughout the ordering process
- Receive, unpack, steam, tag, organize, and maintain incoming gowns and merchandise
- Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining the overall look and feel of the showroom
- Keep the boutique clean, organized, and beautifully presented throughout the day
- Work collaboratively with the entire team and jump in wherever needed to keep the shop running smoothly
- Represent the Lovely Bride brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for what we do
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail, bridal, fashion, or luxury customer-service experience preferred
- A genuine interest in bridal fashion and an eye for personal style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Warm, outgoing, and confident personality
- Comfortable working with a wide range of body types and making every bride feel celebrated and comfortable
- Strong sales skills and the ability to confidently ask for the sale without being pushy
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy retail environment
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
- Professional, polished, and enthusiastic
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and assisting with gowns throughout appointments
- Weekend availability is needed, including both Saturdays and Sundays

Position: Part-Time Bridal Stylist

Schedule: Part-time; weekend availability needed
Experience: Retail, bridal, fashion, or luxury customer service experience preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
