- Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care.
Responsibilities
- Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities.
- In addition, it is responsible for nutritional care and support of hospital patients, counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Chemistry and Biology; Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans.
- Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) preferred registration eligibility required; Licensed by the State of NM.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a relevant area.
- Previous job-related experience.
