Responsibilities
Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring. Ability to take a lead role in workflow and problem-solve equipment malfunctions.
Preferred Job Requirements
- One (1) year of previous job-related experience in Central Supply and/or Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.
