- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal, equipment, and property security for assigned areas.
- Provide information, directions, and escort service as needed.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Completed security guard training through an approved agency, Level I and II, or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Required to wear Body Armor, taser, baton, and handcuff-associated gear while on duty.
- Less than one year of experience in general security.
- To drive a Lovelace-owned vehicle, you must possess a valid NM driver’s license on your person, no DUI/DWI within the last five years.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year of security experience.
- Hospital environment.
- CPR Certification.
