- Lovelace Health System includes six hospitals, 51 health care clinics, and seven outpatient therapy clinics, with 619 inpatient beds, and employs a team of more than 3,400, including more than 263 health care providers.
Responsibilities
- The Credentialer is responsible for all aspects of the privileging and credentialing process for the health care provider.
- The Credentialer will process applications, verify information, research application details, and ensure processes.
- They will also provide consistent, accurate, and timely credentialing support. Work includes the accurate, timely, and documented verification of the information provided by the applicant and the maintenance of the highly confidential credentialing-related files.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in a related field. Education may be substituted for related experience.
- Skilled in a variety of software applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook programs.
- Applicant needs to have their own vehicle with a current, valid driver’s license and insurance, as they may need to make deliveries.
- Two (2) years of related experience
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Medical knowledge or medical group practice knowledge helpful.
