Job Summary
We are seeking a motivational and knowledgeable Group Class Personal Trainer to lead small group weight training sessions. The ideal candidate is passionate about women’s fitness, understands proper movement patterns, and can coach with both confidence and compassion. This role requires someone who can guide, educate, and inspire clients while maintaining a safe and high-energy training environment.
Note: This position includes a 30-day training & onboarding period to ensure alignment with our coaching style, programming, and core values.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and high-energy group classes for women of all fitness levels
- Coach strength training, functional conditioning, and plyometric-based workouts
- Provide exercise modifications and progressions to ensure safety and success
- Support new member assessments, movement screenings, and check-ins
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment
- Assist with community events, specialty classes, and women’s wellness programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training space
- Build strong rapport with members to support retention and progress
Qualifications
- Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor (NASM, ISSA, ACE, etc.) ( Recommended but not required. Certification Program available).
- Experience teaching group fitness or leading personal training sessions
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, strength training fundamentals and functional movement
- Excellent communication skills with a supportive coaching style
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for empowering women and promoting holistic wellness
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to lead a room confidently
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed within the health club setting.

Schedule
- Morning, evening, and/or weekend availability preferred
- Part-time options available
- Morning shift: 5a-10a ; Evening shift: 4p-8p
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
