We’re hiring a highly capable Venue Manager to oversee food & beverage, operations, and on-site production for a large multipurpose venue with capacities up to 10,000 guests. This role demands strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to keep a massive space running at a professional, polished standard every single event.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all event-day operations, guest experience, staff performance, and venue flow
- Manage food & beverage operations, vendor logistics, and quality control
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, production teams, security, and staff
- Coordinate load-in, load-out, staging, and all production requirements
- Ensure the venue is maintained to a high operational and cleanliness standard at all times
- Oversee janitorial teams, restroom upkeep, trash flow, and emergency clean-ups
- Conduct pre-event walkthroughs to ensure readiness (F&B, FOH, BOH, signage, safety, cleanliness)
- Lead post-event breakdown and ensure the venue is reset properly
- Monitor staffing levels, breaks, and performance across all teams
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, emergency procedures, and crowd management standards
- Troubleshoot operational issues in real time with a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- Track inventory, equipment condition, maintenance needs, and supplies
- Support scheduling, payroll tracking, and operational reporting as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing large venues, arenas, amphitheaters, or major multipurpose spaces
- Strong background in food & beverage and operations leadership
- High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and polished environment
- Ability to manage high-volume guest flow and large, diverse teams
- Comfort working closely with production crews, performers, and event organizers
- Strong communication skills and fast problem-solving instincts
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, long shifts, and high-demand event schedules
- Cool under pressure and highly organized
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years in venue or event operations management
- Experience with crowds of 100–5,000
- Familiar with venue compliance, safety standards, and maintenance protocols
- Understanding of F&B inventory, ordering systems, and vendor coordination
