Receiver

Job Summary: As a Receiver, you will be a primary collaborator and integral part of the success and effectiveness of the store. With a sense of urgency and attention to detail, you will process all incoming products that arrive for the sales floor. The Receiver communicates with department managers and buyers regarding special orders, delivery issues, and vendor out-of-stocks.
Responsibilities:
-Accurately receiving and processing all incoming products according to cost and quantity.
-Staging products for efficient delivery to the sales floor.
-Processing all invoices and paperwork timely and accurately.
-Documenting shortages and damages.
-Submitting information for credits and returns to proper vendors.
-Researching and processing all order discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
-1 years in a grocery/retail environment.
-Professional and friendly with great enthusiasm towards job and teamwork.
-Willingness to go above and beyond satisfying customer expectations and in-store experience.
-Ability to stand on one's feet for majority of the workday and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
-Effective time management, attention to detail, and organization skills.
-Ability to follow directions, procedures, and company policies.
-Willingness to work a schedule based on delivery days and times.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Working knowledge of and/or experience in the Organic Grocery Industry.
