Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Crew/Grounds Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in operating heavy equipment such as skid loaders, cranes, bucket trucks, etc. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid loaders, cranes, bucket trucks, boom trucks, tractors, chippers, stump grinders, power saws, trucks, sprayers and other equipment safely for tree care operations.
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance the appearance of trees.
- Conduct routine inspections of trees to identify health issues or hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with customers to ensure all jobs are done to the highest satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment.
- Be physically fit, able to bend and lift at least 50lbs.
- Have work experience with physical labor such as landscaping, farming, logging, construction or other similar jobs.
- Must have valid Drivers License.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
