Job Functions
- Manage tax audits, including responding to inquiries and preparing documentation.
- Conduct in-depth reconciliations and investigate tax discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax accuracy in business operations.
- Support tax system implementations and process automation initiatives.
- Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, communicating updates to the team.
- Assist in training and developing junior team members.
- Perform other duties as required.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2 years of related experience.
- Hard Skills: Expertise in tax compliance software (Avalara, Vertex, SRA, SAP).
- Soft Skills: Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to handle high level reconciliation and audit responses.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
