Job Functions
- Scanning documents into the payables system.
- Moving PDF’s in their correct invoice upload folders.
- Understanding the basic invoice workflows for each invoice type to ensure accuracy and invoices are properly sent to the correct processing channels for approval.
- Troubleshoot inquires and issues with direct supervisor, vendors, and internal customers.
- Ability to follow and successfully complete a listing of set daily duties in addition to troubleshooting documents that come back with questions or issues.
- Process different types of documents that we receive from vendors.
- Ability to process documents independently and understand internal customer and vendor questions.
- All other duties assigned as needed.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience in payables document processing.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Hard Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is an advantage
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
