Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based around Binghamton, NY, with Love's Alternative Energy. The role requires overseeing day-to-day responsibilities specific to the maintenance, operation, or development of alternative energy projects and fueling systems. Key activities include site inspections, troubleshooting, working with project management teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to drive project success and meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical systems, or alternative energy solutions
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair of alternative fueling systems (e.g., CNG, hydrogen, or EV infrastructure)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team engagement
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance
- Proficiency in using tools, equipment, or diagnostic software related to alternative energy technologies
- Flexibility to work extended hours or respond promptly to on-site maintenance needs
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience with fleet maintenance or sustainable energy projects is a plus
