Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role located in Allentown, PA. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on alternative fueling equipment, including CNG, hydrogen, and EV charging systems. Tasks may include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations, and providing technical support to ensure equipment reliability. The Mechanic will collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain high operational standards and contribute to the efficiency of the fueling facilities.
Qualifications
- Experience with equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Basic understanding of alternative energy systems such as CNG, hydrogen, or EV charging (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for high-quality repair and maintenance work
- Good communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and safety-oriented mindset
- An ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certification in mechanical systems is a strong advantage
- Must be able to work on-site in Allentown, PA
