Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times to guests effectively.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service and guest relations throughout their dining experience.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests as needed.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
