Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to patients in various home settings, providing support with daily living activities and helps individuals maintain their independence .
Responsibilities
- Personal Hygiene Assistance, Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance, Aiding with transfers, walking, and position to ensure comfort and safety.
- Meal Preparation, Preparing nutritious meals, assisting with feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
- Housekeeping, Light housekeeping tasks suck as cleaning, laundry and organizing to maintain safe and tidy living space.
- Medication Reminders, Reminding the client to take prescribed medication at the right times(they do not administer medications)
- Companionship, Offering emotional support, social interactions, and engaging in activities to reduce loneliness and improve quality of life.
- Transportation, Assisting with getting to appointments, grocery shopping, or running errands.
- Monitoring Well-being, Observing changes in the client's condition and reporting any concerns.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
