The Chimney Cake is a family-owned business dedicated to bringing the traditional Eastern European treat of chimney cakes (trdelník) to the masses. We are thrilled to be returning to the Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn and are looking for energetic, friendly, and hardworking individuals to join our team!
We specialize in hand-rolled, fire-roasted pastries that are both sweet and savory. We are committed to quality, creativity, and providing a unique food experience.

- Dates: Weekends from April 11th – May 31th, 2026
- Please ensure you are available for weekends during this period.The Role:
We are looking for a Baker / Crew Member to help us serve our famous fire-roasted cinnamon chimney cakes and "Chimney Dogs." You will be responsible for preparing the dough, rolling it onto wooden sticks, grilling it to perfection, and serving customers with a smile.
Responsibilities may include:
- Dough Preparation: Expertly roll and shape dough onto wooden sticks, ensuring consistency.
- Grilling & Baking: Manage the charcoal grill, carefully monitoring temperature and timing to bake cakes until golden brown and crispy.
- Topping & Plating: Coat the hot pastries with sugar/cinnamon and fill them with delicious toppings like Nutella, fruit, or ice cream.
- Customer Service: Take orders, answer questions about our ingredients/traditions, and provide a friendly experience.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean work area and grill, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in cooking, baking, or food preparation is required. Experience with charcoal grills is a huge plus.
- Manual Dexterity: Must have good hand-eye coordination to roll dough and handle hot grill equipment safely.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor cooking times and dough consistency in a fast-paced environment.
- Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and working in an outdoor festival environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends during the festival dates.
