Love and Learn Childcare Academy is a childcare facility in West St Cloud. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Cook who is excited to work with young children in a positive growing environment.
We are looking for a Kitchen Cook to assist our overall day to day kitchen operations. The Kitchen Cook is a full-time, day position (6:30am-3:30pm.) You are not required to work nights, weekends, or major holidays.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen cook responsibilities include assisting with food prep and cooking, and complying with safety and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Kitchen cook
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Ability to manage a fast-paced work environment
- Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the recipe, preparation and portion standards
- Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the preventive maintenance measures
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
