The Lourdes Public Charter School Board of Directors is in search of a highly accomplished educational leader with elementary teaching and educational administrative experience, preferably within a Charter or Private School, for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Experience in a rural setting is advantageous. The desired qualifications include: Conducting regular classroom observations and evaluations, providing constructive feedback.Supporting professional development opportunities for teachers.Collaborating closely with staff and school board members.Demonstrating effective communication skills with staff, students, parents, community members, the school board of directors, as well as the sponsoring Scio School District.Being actively involved in the school community, approachable, and attentive to others.Demonstrating a successful track record in elementary teaching and administrative roles.Proficiency in Oregon and Federal school finance, fiscal management, budgeting skills, and grant writing.Exhibiting strong decision-making and problem-solving skills while communicating them clearly.Showing a commitment to the school for the long term.Having a solid understanding of disciplinary laws and enforcing a zero-tolerance bullying policy.School Overview: Located in Scio, our school serves 49 students with a staff of 4 members. The small size fosters close relationships between teachers and students.
