LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- $28.06 per hour.
- Part-Time and Perdiem; 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm shifts available.
Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:
- Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Job Summary:
- Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participates in its updating as required.
- Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift.
- Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments.
- Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
- Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
- Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.
- Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.
