Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are replenished and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning tables, counters, and food prep areas in accordance with food safety procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and arranging food items to ensure freshness and visual appeal
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including warming trays, coffee machines, and food dispensers
- Serve guests in person with friendly, attentive customer service while addressing their needs promptly
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle weight-based food items with care
- Follow food safety management protocols and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of supplies safely
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems
